Eastern States Exposition is a non-profit organization that promotes New England agriculture, education, and industry by hosting year-round family events. Its best known event is the Big E, a massive, two-week September fair featuring high-profile live entertainment, stunt and thrill shows, farm exhibits of all shapes and sizes, the Big E Super Circus, and a daily parade. The ESE lies south of downtown West Springfield, just across the water from Pynchon Park.
